41st Pastoral Anniversary
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ!
The Mount Zion First African Baptist Church family
will celebrate Pastor Alvin Edwards' 41st Anniversary this year. Our celebration theme will be” “A Man in His
Time” (Deuteronomy 29:5 “For forty years I led you through the wilderness,
yet your clothes and sandals did not wear out.”) We are extending an
earnest invitation to you to join us in giving God thanks for blessing us with
the gift of our Pastor, Reverend Dr. Alvin Edwards, as he celebrates 41 years of
equipping the saints of this body.
Dr. Edwards’ uncompromising approach to preaching and
teaching the Gospel has impacted the lives of those in the greater community of
Charlottesville and surrounding counties, as well as various States and
Countries. We pray that your church
family will join us in this celebration. There will be a banquet held at the
Omni Hotel on Saturday, August 27, 2022, beginning at
1:00pm. The cost of tickets for adults are $60.00 and $20.00 for children (twelve and under). If you are interested in purchasing
tickets, please call the Church office at 434-293-3212.
If you are interested,
you may secure an ad in Pastor Edwards’ 41st Anniversary book. A full-page ad
(back cover and inside back cover) is $150, a full page within the booklet is
$100, one half page $50, and one fourth page $25. We have enclosed a diagram to
assist you in formatting your ad. Ads
must be in final format; ready for publication.

make checks payable to Mt. Zion First African Baptist Church.
Those who are
interested in being listed as a patron in the Anniversary Book you may complete
the patron information listing below. Payment can be made via CASH APP or by
mailing payment to the church office.
